On the other hand, the Iranian Army assured that American destroyers tried to approach the Strait of Hormuz, in the Sea of Oman, and were warned on several occasions by radio “of the risk of violating the ceasefire“.
“With a firm and prompt warning from the Army Naval Force, US-Zionist enemy destroyers were prevented from entering the Strait of Hormuz area,” indicated the public relations of the Iranian Army.
Tehran’s version maintains that the American ships, By not heeding the warning, they received an Iranian attack as a “warning.”
After that, two missiles hit a US Navy ship, which forced him to abandon his attempt to cross the straitaccording to the Fars agency, linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
