Judge Mario Najarro, in charge of the Special Court for Human Trafficking Crimes, resolved that two people face criminal proceedings for crimes related to human trafficking, specifically against minors, judicial sources reported this Wednesday, June 17.
These are Rebeca Saraí Estrada Osorio and Nery José Hernández Sic, who were captured on May 26.
According to the investigation, the victims are daughters of Estrada Osorio and the accused offered pornographic material of the minors.
At the hearing, the Public Ministry (MP) presented the evidence, which was analyzed by the judge, who decided that both be investigated.
Estrada Osorio will be investigated for human trafficking in the form of pornography. Hernández Sic, for his part, will face criminal proceedings for the crime of paid sexual activities with minors.
Both accused were benefited from alternative measures that include house arrest, the obligation to sign monthly in the MP and the prohibition of approaching or communicating with the victims or their relatives.
Judge Najarro also resolved that a socioeconomic study be carried out on the unions to determine the viability of the use of telematic control.
The MP will have a period of five months to expand and conclude the investigation. The intermediate stage hearing was scheduled for next December 2 in the same courtroom.
