The first images showed the Colombian singer with the star of Lincoln’s Lawyer leaving The Tower hotel in Beverly Hills. Subsequently, a video in which the two appear dancing in a Cuban restaurant in Los Angeles fueled speculation on social networks about a possible romance.
The images placed the interpreter of eyes like that in the center of public attention. However, it was the owner of the restaurant where they were seen who offered details about how the visit would have gone.
What many called a late-night date between Shakira and García-Rulfo has sparked speculation about Shakira’s love life. The owner of El Floridita told Wake up Americain statements cited by the magazine Whothat the artist’s presence was a surprise for the establishment’s staff.
The owner explained that several customers asked him if the woman in the store was Shakira. At first she thought it wasn’t her, but when she got closer she confirmed that it was the Colombian singer.
“When we approached to assure that it was her, it was her. That was a tremendous surprise,” highlight the statements recovered by Who.
According to testimony, the artists stayed in the restaurant for several hours and enjoyed the atmosphere. “This is precisely the table where Shakira sat with her partner and back here is where we have the orchestra, and this is the dance floor where she danced and shared with him,” said the interviewee.

According to the owner, the singer and the actor spent much of the night dancing and enjoying the music, although they did not have dinner at the place.
“They had a good time, they danced, they enjoyed the night, she really liked the music. The DJ played some of her music when the band finished and she had a great time,” Univisión highlights when quoting the testimony.

Beyond the rumors, international media indicate that Shakira had gone to the establishment to dance and that she not only stayed with Manuel García-Rulfo, but also with other people who were in the Cuban restaurant.
