With songs like The ship of oblivion, Loving and loving and The sadwill resonate in the “Hugo Carrillo” Chamber Theater when the performer Carlos Cuéllar, accompanied by the Luna Band Orchestra, pays tribute to the so-called Prince of Song.
The presentation, which is part of the June Festival, will offer a romantic concert that will evoke the music of the 1970s and 1980s, dedicated to José José and other artists who graced an unforgettable era of music with their songs.
With the staging called eternally romanticthe Guatemalan singer will celebrate the legacy and voice of the great José José, one of the exponents of the ballad, and will take the audience on a journey of nostalgia, emotion and memories of old loves.
Carlos Cuéllar will perform hits by ballad exponents such as José Luis Perales, Roberto Carlos and Julio Iglesias, accompanied by the sound of the orchestra, which will make this night an unforgettable experience.
Songs by Camilo Sesto, Raphael, Armando Manzanero, José Luis Rodríguez, “el Puma”, and Nino Bravo, among others, will also alternate. The teacher and conductor Walter Flores will conduct the Luna Band Orchestra along with the musicians Germán Giordano, Fernando Pérez, Andrés Blanco, Leonel Franco, Rolando Gudiel, Julio Oliva, Elfido Ayala and Ramiro Vivar.
