Man with nine criminal records is captured accused of attacking his partner and sister-in-law with a machete

Police from Police Station 12 captured this Wednesday, July 1, the person allegedly responsible for attacking his partner, 32, and his sister-in-law, 35, with a machete in the El Limón II neighborhood, zone 18.

According to the National Civil Police (PNC), the detainee was identified as Santos “N”, 63 years old, who, after an argument, attacked the two women, who were taken to a hospital.

The detainee has a criminal history: he has nine records for 14 crimes, the PNC stated.

His antecedents include assault with a sharp weapon in 1996; fight, carrying a machete and riotous fight, in 1999.

He also has a record of drunkenness and scandal, illegal carrying of a sharp weapon, drunkenness and damage, in 1989; as well as for drunkenness and scandal and illegal carrying of a knife, in 1991.

In addition, he has a history of drunkenness and scandal on public roads and illegal carrying of a knife, in 1994, among others, the PNC indicated.

“After his capture, he was once again placed at the disposal of a court to resolve his legal situation,” the police report added.
