With the participation of Emmy winners Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) and Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere), the nominations for the 78th edition of the Emmy Awards this Wednesday, July 8 from the Wolf Theater, at the Saban Media Center.
Productions like The Pitt shone in this edition of the Television Academy Awards, reaching 25 nominations in the drama category, while Hacks It earned 24 nominations in the comedy category.
The Emmy Awards highlighted that, in its 78th edition, there were 28 nominees for the first time in all acting categories, including Patrick Ball (The Pitt), Charlie Hunnam (Monster: The Ed Gein Story) and Charles Melton (Beef).
Likewise, other figures from the world of television received various nominations for their performances, interpretations and work on television, such as Jason Bateman, with four nominations (acting and direction for Black Rabbit; acting and production by DTF St. Louis), and Noah Wyle (acting, directing and producing by The Pitt).
According to the Emmy portal, final online voting will begin on August 17, 2026, while the 78th Emmy Awards gala will air on September 14 from the Peacock Theater on LA Live. It can be seen on NBC and in streaming via Peacock.
