A teenager from 15 years was rescued by National Civil Police (PNC) El Salvador after having been allegedly kidnapped by three peopleamong them two Guatemalan citizenswho broke into a house in the canton armed The Matazanoin San Juan Opico, La Libertad Centeraccording to an Infobae publication.
According to the official report, the alleged perpetrators threatened with a firearm to the minor’s family and forced her to leave the house before escaping in a vehicle.
After the complaint filed by the relatives, the PNC activated a search operation that allowed the vehicle used by the suspects to be located near the kilometer 33.5 of the Pan-American highway.
The authorities reported that the car presented mechanical defectsso those involved abandoned him and tried to escape on foot along with the teenager through a mountainous area.

Two Guatemalans among those captured
Police identified the detainees as Manuel N.of 32 yearsand Luis N.of 39 yearsboth of nationality Guatemalanas well as Maria N.of 19 yearsof nationality Salvadoran.
The three remain in custody while investigations continue to determine the circumstances of the case and their possible participation in other criminal acts.
What does Salvadoran law say?
He kidnapping crime is typified in the Article 149 of the Penal Code of El Salvador and contemplates penalties of 15 to 20 years in prison for those who are declared responsible.
The legislation also establishes that, when there are aggravating circumstances, such as the participation of several people or damage caused to the victim, the sentence can be increased. up to 50 years in prison.
