Insivumeh reports four earthquakes with epicenter in the Pacific this July 22

This Wednesday, July 22, the Insivumeh reported four earthquakes with their epicenter in the Pacific Ocean, in the so-called Mesoamerican trench, the institution reported.

At 2:32 a.m. the first earthquake was detected, with a magnitude of 4.5 and a depth of 3.13 kilometers.

The second earthquake reached a magnitude of 4.5 and had a depth of 14.7 kilometers.

At 4:25 and 5:39 a.m. two more earthquakes were recorded, with magnitudes 4.4 and 4.5.

The epicenter of the 4.4 magnitude earthquake was located 73 kilometers from Retalhuleu, 88 kilometers from San Marcos and 91 kilometers from Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez.

According to the Insivumeh report, in the last 24 hours 98 earthquakes have been recorded; Of these, none have been sensitive in the national territory.

On Friday, July 17, Guatemala was alerted by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that caused at least 75 emergencies nationwide.
