They intercept a man who was trying to bring a loaf of bread with 149 stones of crack and marijuana to Jalapa prison

The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that police from Police Station 22 captured Anthony “N”, 23 years old, at the entrance to the Jalapa prison.

According to the PNC, the detainee was discovered on Tuesday, July 22, when he tried to visit a member of the Barrio 18 gang held in sector three of that prison center.

The PNC added that, among the parcels that the now captured man was carrying, there was a loaf full of drugs.

“Inside the bread there were 149 crack stones and several compact portions of marijuana,” the PNC stated.

Marijuana seized

In another case, the PNC reported that Salvadoran Carlos “N”, 45 years old, was detained in the village of El Salamar, Moyuta, Jutiapa.

Agents seized seven bags of marijuana and two wrappers with crystal fragments of methamphetamine.
