A new animated series will continue the story of Avatarwith a production that will debut on Paramount+ on October 9, 2026.
Produced by Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon, Avatar: Seven Havens (Avatar: The Seven Refuges) will follow Pavi, a young earthbender who discovers she is the new Avatar after KorraAang’s immediate successor.
“Humanity is not ready for the return of the Avatar; however, it is what this world needs most,” says the voice that accompanies the trailers released on Thursday, July 23.
The new series will be divided into two narrative seasons of 13 episodes each, for a total of 26 chapters.s that will tell the story based on the events of The Legend of Korra (The legend of Korra), released in 2012.
In a very different scenario from its predecessors, the title of Avatar stops representing a figure considered protector of humanity, so Pavi will be seen as a threat to the survival of civilization. The protagonist will be pursued by both human enemies and spiritual forces.
The story will include Nisha, her twin sister, who will try to discover their origin while seeking to protect the so-called “Seven Refuges”, considered the last bastions where civilization still survives.
Actress Saheli Khan will lend her voice to Pavi; Aishu Devan, to Nisha; Akshay Khanna, to Karthik; Major Curda, to Jae; Sakina Jaffrey, to Agam; Darren Barnet, to Daemin; Dianne Doan, Zi, and Dee Bradley Baker will voice the characters Geet and Ruhi.
The production was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who also developed the original universe of Avatar: The Last Airbenderpremiered more than two decades ago on Nickelodeon.

Before the release of this series, it will premiere Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender), an animated film focused on the protagonist of the original series, which will reach the platforms of streaming this Saturday, July 25.
