Authorities reported that, as a result of the actions carried out by the General Subdirectorate of Anti-Narcotics Information Analysis (SGAIA), possible drugs were seized.
According to preliminary information, this Friday, July 24, 94 packages with possible drugs were located during a vehicle inspection operation.
The diligence is carried out by investigators at kilometer 145 of the Inter-American Highway, at the main entrance to the department of Zacapa.
Preliminarily, the authorities are counting the shipment that could contain cocaine.
The proceedings continue to establish the exact quantity, weight and other details related to the discovery.
The National Civil Police reported that the shipment was transported in a pickup truck.

The agents work in coordination with the Public Ministry to continue with the inspection of the vehicle.
