Young soccer players from four countries compete in the final of the Claro 2026 Super League in Guatemala

Guatemala is the venue for the International Final of the Claro 2026 Super League, considered the most important children’s and youth soccer tournament in Central America. For three days it will bring together the champion teams from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica.

The competition will be held on the Futeca Cayalá fields, where 16 champion teams will seek the regional title in their respective categories. All participants obtained their classification after standing out in the national tournaments of each country, so they represent the best of Central American youth soccer.

The Claro Super League was born in Guatemala in 2013 with the objective of promoting sports practice among children and young people, promoting healthy habits and strengthening values ​​such as teamwork, discipline and family integration. Over the years, the tournament expanded its reach to other Central American countries where Claro has a presence.

According to the organizers, the initiative has benefited more than 2,286 teams and 22,860 young athletes, making it a platform for the development of youth talent and the promotion of sports in Central America.

In this edition, the Under-13 and Under-17 categories compete, in the female and male branches. The U-13 category is made up of players born between 2013 and 2016, while the U-17 category brings together players born between 2009 and 2012.

The purpose of the International Final of the Claro 2026 Super League is to promote the sports development of new generations and strengthen the ties of coexistence and healthy competition between the participating countries.
