During the night of July 25local media from Villa Canales reported on social networks about an armed attack in Boca del Monte which left several dead.
Later, the information was confirmed by the Municipal Firefighters, who detailed that Seven people lost their lives and one was injured.
The armed attack occurred on 8th avenue and 2nd street in zone 2 of Boca del Monte, according to the Municipal Firefighters, who added that a woman was transferred to a healthcare center.
In addition, the victims have already been identified by the relief forces. The case caused a commotion because among the deceased They include relatives of a volunteer firefighter and a content creator on social networks.
The victims of the armed attack in Boca del Monte, according to the Municipal Firefighters, were five men between 20 and 45 years old and a woman approximately 60 years old.
All had gunshot wounds. Emergency services identified the victims as:
- Lester Joel García, approximately 23 years old, with two gunshot wounds.
- Kevin Antonio Bol Pichiya, 18, with a gunshot wound.
- Boris Israel Tello, 29, with a gunshot wound.
- Samuel Isaí Ramos Monterroso, 17 years old, with a gunshot wound.
- José Antonio Orellana, 20 years old, with a gunshot wound.
- María Eugenia Reyes Morales, 58 years old.
- Francisco Tello Loarca, 62 years old. He had been taken to a hospital, but died shortly after being admitted to the hospital.
The Municipal Firefighters and people who were at the scene also identified the two injured people:
- Verónica Maribel Velásquez, 34 years old.
