the weather forecast for Guatemala from July 27 to 31

In its meteorological bulletin, Insivumeh detailed what the weather conditions will be in Guatemala from Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31.

During this week, areas with fog are expected in the early hours of the morning and during the night, as well as a warm and humid environment during the day.

In addition, rain accompanied by electrical activity is expected during the afternoon and night in the southern to central regions of the national territory.

The rains expected for this week are associated with local conditions due to the entry of humidity from both coastlines, the passage or approach of waves from the east and the instability in the Pacific of the Central American region, according to Insivumeh.

The precipitation expected for this week may favor river flooding, floods and lahars in the volcanic chain.

What will the weather be like by region?

According to the Insivumeh, on the central plateau, which includes the capital, there will be areas with morning fog, little cloudiness alternating with partial cloudiness and a warm and humid environment during the day. There will also be an increase and development of cloudiness in the afternoon and night, with the possibility of scattered rains with electrical activity.

A light northeast wind is expected, with the possibility of changing to the south in the afternoon. In the capital, maximum temperatures will be 26°C to 28°C; in the central and western highlands, from 24 °C to 29 °C.

For the Pacific regions, the weather will be partially cloudy, alternating with little cloudiness, a warm and humid environment, and increase and development of cloudiness in the afternoon and night, with the possibility of moderate rains with electrical activity.

Wind from the south and southwest, light to moderate, is expected. The thermometer could read between 34 °C and 36 °C.

In the Motagua region and the valleys of Oriente, fog is also expected in the morning, little cloudiness alternating with partially cloudy skies and a warm and humid environment during the day.
