The Municipal Traffic Police (PMT) reported that this Wednesday, July 29, a truck lost control, knocked down poles and damaged homes at kilometer 13 of the route to the Atlantic, in zone 25.

Amílcar Montejo, PMT road spokesman, indicated that the accident occurred on the descent of Águila. The car hit two homes; In addition, he knocked down three posts towards the east and one towards the west.

He added that the driver was helped by firefighters, although it was not necessary to transfer him to a hospital.

Montejo updated that the energy distribution company removed one of the poles that remained energized, in order to create more space for traffic entering and leaving the city.

The PMT also reported that two cranes are carrying out maneuvers to remove the head, so work in the sector continues.

The entity recommended driving with caution while the work is completed.

According to the PMT, after the accident the congestion was recorded towards the north from kilometer 9 and towards the south from kilometer 14.
