The National Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology (Insivumeh) reported that at 0:58 a.m. this Thursday, July 30, an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 was recorded.
The epicenter was recorded in Escuintla, with a depth of 56 kilometers.
The National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction reported that the tremor was reported sensitive in Guatemala, Quiché, Santa Rosa, Quetzaltenango, Sololá, Escuintla, Retalhuleu, Guatemala, Totonicapán and Sacatepéquez.
