A woman was found lifeless in a self -hotel of the Inter -American Route and the causes of death are still unknown.

A woman was found lifeless on Saturday night March 1 in a room of a self -hotel at kilometer 47. 5 of the Inter -American Route, Sumpango, Sacatepéquez.
Departmental Municipal Firefighters of El Tejar, Chimaltenango, attended the emergency and reported the death.
Hours later it was confirmed that The victim responded to the name of Elida Ávila Rasbot, 21, originally from El Tejar. The cause of death is unknown.
In 2024 it had been appointed Miss Sympathy of Colonia October 20 of that municipality, according to a community leader.
Representatives of the Community Development Council of that colony on its official Facebook page showed their support to the young woman’s family.
On this page they also stressed that Ávila Rasbot had completed the forest bomb course.
