On February 27, a video on social networks showed when a woman threw hot water with lime to a minor of 1 year old and her mother.
The fact that occurred in Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez, has caused the repudiation of Internet users and neighbors, who demand that the authorities intervene due to the damage done to the minor, since their sight is at risk.
This Sunday, March 2 transcended that the alleged aggressor fled from her home in the Independence Colony of Mazatenango.
The mother of the attacked minor transmitted via social networks the moment when people carried the belongings of the alleged aggressor and placed them in two vehicles that hours later retired with an ignored direction, this happened on March 1 at night, since she would have taken advantage of to flee from her home and avoid being seen by her neighbors, who point her out of constant aggressions against other minors.
Neighbors who noticed also documented the moment when the aggressor went aboard a white peak and supposedly the police guarded her to prevent them from leaving their home and for fear of being retained.
According to the neighbors, from February 27 that the video went viral, the aggressor did not leave her house again.
They also demanded that the authorities punish aggression against the child.
Marina Set, mother of the child who resulted in burns in her eyes, indicated that her daughter was discharged on February 28, after remaining in the pediatric intensive of the Mazatenango hospital for three days.
