The Mexican coach debuts at the head of the National Women’s Team with a list of 23 players, including 14 who militate abroad, for the friendly duels of May 28 and 31 against Puerto Rico.

Mexican coach Karla Maya will have her first preparation games since her arrival at the Guatemala Women’s Soccer Team, facing her similar to Puerto Rico during the FIFA date of May.
A total of 23 players were summoned by the technical director, who will be working from today until June 3 at the High Performance Center (CAR), where 14 legionaries and nine players who militate in teams of the local league stand out.
Among the players who militate abroad, highlights the return of Ana Lucía Martínez, from Rayadas, from Monterrey; Aisha Solórzano, of the Utah Royals, of the United States; and Leslie Ramírez, of FC Premier, from England, among others.
From the National Women’s League were called: Flor Aguirre, Alexandra Fernández, Lilian Álvarez, Ariadna Olayo, Barbara Ramírez, Marilyn Rivera, Acacia Edwards, Anayeli Quintanilla and Madelyn Ventura.
Both games will be played on May 28 and 31 in Guatemala, at 12 noon. The first will be in the Cementos Progreso stadium, open to the public, and the second, in the CAR, behind closed doors.
This is the new major bicolor process, which will be playing the World Cup qualifiers with the aim of, for the first time, the classification to a World Cup, which will be played in Brazil in 2027.
