Alexander Amílcar Ixcajoc, father of the girl Genesis Ixcajoc, 7, who two and a half years ago was located dead in a building in Ciudad Peronia, Villa Nueva, demands justice and cries so that the trial against the alleged perpetrators develops quickly.
According to the investigations of the Public Ministry (MP), Genesis would have been kidnapped, raped and murdered by the Jairo, Edwin and Luis Chamalé brothers, who tried to hide the body of the minor by burying it under a concrete cake.
This Monday, June 2, the trial began against the syndicates; However, Jairo and Edwin reported that they suffer from tuberculosis, so the audience was postponed.
The Court officiated the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) to carry out the corresponding medical evaluations. The restart of the debate was reprogrammed for Monday, June 9 at 9 am.
The victim’s father expressed his desire that the judicial process will be expedited, because he was initially accused of the crime, which has harmed his personal and labor life.
“I want this to be clarified, to give me an support sheet so that people also stop criticizing me,” he said. In addition, he mentioned that he has a restraining order that prevents him from being close to his other children, who currently live with his wife.
Both the father of the child and his companions wore t -shirts with the photography of Genesis and the message “We want justice.”
He explained that this initiative seeks to make the case visible and prevent it from being unpunished: “We do not want to be unpunished what they did to Liliana (Genesis),” he said.
The father also called other people who have suffered similar situations to denounce without fear, with the aim of doing justice.
“What they did to my baby is irreparable,” he concluded, reiterating his hope that those responsible pay for their actions and that he can clean his name before society.
