Residents of San Pedro La Laguna, Sololá, expel two people from Quiché for allegedly practicing satanic rituals on the shores of Lake Atitlán

Unanimously, the Cocodes, the Council of Elders and the municipal authorities of San Pedro La Laguna decided to expel two people from Quiché for practicing ceremonies with an image of Satan and another of the Holy Death on the shores of the Lake Atitlán.

The alert was issued by neighbors who were shocked by these practices, which they called as satanic rites.

The neighbors emphasize that they have been respectful of any type of beliefs, except those that affect other people.

Considering that these acts are “dark”, during this Monday, June 2, the neighbors celebrated a ceremony to cleanse bad energies.
