The Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing (CIV) reported that this Thursday, June 5, kilometer 17.5 of the Route to Pacific was enabled.
“This will allow a more fluid and safe circulation. It is a work that will benefit more than 150,000 daily vehicles, relieveing traffic in one of the most traveled sections in the country,” he said.
On Wednesday, the CIV inspected the application of a new asphalt in the approaches to the bridge, the horizontal and vertical signage, the accommodation of road separators and the cleaning.
Henry Quevedo, spokesman for the Municipal Traffic Police of Villa Nueva, indicated that the authorization of the bridge to the North direction has expedited vehicular mobility.
He stressed that the authorization of the aforementioned structure facilitates the circulation in the alternate routes of Bárcenas, San José, Villa Nueva and the central area of that municipality.
