Óscar Santis scored one of his most special goals with the Guatemala selection On Monday, June 16, when Jamaica’s goal won in the debut in the Gold Cup 2025.

The former GFC striker culminated a good collective play from the Bicolor after receiving a Darwin Lom heel pass and scoring 1-0 in the Dignity Health Sports Park.

The play unleashed the jubilation in all the Guatemalan fans present in the enclosure and also in all the homes to which the television broadcast arrived.

One of the most viral moments of the entire sequence occurred during the narration of Juan Manuel “Bambino” Ponsa prominent and recognized Argentine commentator of the ESPN chain, who paid tribute to a song by Ricardo Arjona while narrating Santis’s goal.

In the style of “Lady of the four decades”, one of the most recognized singles of the Guatemalan singer -songwriter, Bambino Pons narrated the goal that excited hundreds of people who listened to the transmission.
