A video shows the exact moment in which a couple of doctors is attacked in bullets in full transit of Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez.
The armed attack against the couple occurred on Thursday, June 19, while they were in the midst of traffic in Mazatenango. The images were disseminated in social networks.
The incident took place on the route that leads from San Francisco Zapotitlán, Retalhuleu, towards Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez, according to the volunteer firefighters, who attended the emergency.
In the attack, doctor Luis Manuel Andrade died, 62, and his wife, Mariela García, was injured.
The video shows how two men who moved on a motorcycle reach them while the victims slowly advanced in traffic, and one of the attackers shoots at the doctor, who died instantly because of the seriousness of the wounds.
After the attack, the aggressor addressed the motorcycle again, which never stopped, and both escaped with an ignored direction.
According to preliminary information, the doctors were heading for a celebration activity for Father’s Day when it was shot dead.
