The new overlapping in the El Naranjo-Minervas Boulevardin Mixcowhich has eight lanes and a roundthis Sunday, March 9, 2025.
The construction began six months ago and concluded in early March in a high traffic zone, mainly used by residents of the Zones 4, 5 and 11 of the municipality.
This new infrastructure has aroused great interest between drivers and pedestrians. But, Where will each lane connect and what function will it have?
In a timely manner, the overpass organizes traffic in direct lanes to expedite circulation and in elevated lanes to facilitate turns and accesses to different sectors.
How does the orange-orange passage work?
The design includes eight lanes distributed on two levels To optimize circulation:
- Four lanes at the low level allow the Innovation transitThey reduce congestion and improve road safety.
- Two range from El Naranjo to forests from San Nicolás.
- The other two connect in the opposite direction to the peripheral ring.
- Four elevated lanes facilitate turns and changes of direction.
- They allow to enter from the main boulevard to Minervas, the fountains and new land.
- They connect with the round to facilitate the return to forests of San Nicolás, the industrial sector and other nearby areas.
Main characteristics
- Eight lanes in total with a high road exchange.
- A arena that improves connectivity with Minervas and other sectors.
- Two upper lanes from El Naranjo that allow direct access to Minervas or reinstatement to the lower lanes.
