Melissa Palacios disappeared on July 4, 2021 in San Jorge, Zacapaand a day later his body appeared with multiple blows to the head.

Almost four years have passed since the crime occurred and there is still no sentence for the case.

The aforementioned crime is María Fernanda Bonilla, who on Wednesday, March 12 after a hearing was suspended told reporters: “My crime is not murder, my crime is homicide in a state of violent emotion.”

That day the audience was scheduled in which it would be known if Bonilla would face trial for the death of Palacios.

This Thursday, March 13, the Public Ministry confirmed the existence of an audio recorded minutes before the crime.

The audio was extracted from a video that leaked in social networks and the research entity confirmed that it corresponds to the case.

In the recording you hear: “The password and I don’t do anything to you.”

“Please,” Palacios said, to ask that they will stop assaulting her.

The aggressor, according to the audio, replies: “You talked about me”, then noises that would be blows are heard.

“I didn’t say anything,” the victim replied in panic.

The burial of Melissa Palacios occurred in 2021 in tears, sadness and manifestations to demand justice for what happened.

Dozens of people went to the burial of Melissa, who took place in San Jorge to give the young woman and demand the clarification of the crime.
