For this, it will be necessary to use large cranes, which requires a wide and safe maneuvering space. For this reason, a total closure will be made, ”the CIV reported in a statement previously published.

However, the closure coincides with the weekend, the payment of fortnight and the Lent activities, so that traffic authorities foresee complications in the alternate roads that have been enabled.

Henrry Quevedo, spokesman for the PMT of Villa Nueva, said that the routes alternate for those who move to is by Bárcenas and San José Villa Nueva, to connect to Km 22 of the route to the Pacific.

While for people traveling to the north, the most recommended that they do it for the vas, while light transport can enter through km 19 of the Route to the Pacific towards Linda Vista, to connect the reformers to the boulevard.

While the main alternate route with mixed traffic is the descent of the Cross, Km 18 to distribute the transit to the center of Villa New and the Los Reformers boulevard.

“The vehicle influx will be quite slow in the surroundings and we will try to give the best viability to traffic, but for Lent activities and activities outside the municipality, the transit could be interrupted in alternate routes and generate greater complications. Meanwhile, Marco López, a spokesman for Provial, said that a vehicle count is made in the area and that they have identified two alternate routes.

He added that those who go from the capital to Escuintla must enter Villalobos to Bárcenas and leave at km 21 to the Pacific, in the Bárcenas shopping center.
