President Bernardo Arévalo lamented the death of three people and the wounds suffered by another seven in a bus accident on the route to the Atlantic. He informed that among the victims are members of the Semilla Movement.
The president spoke this Friday, March 14 on the accident, which occurred at kilometer 55 of the Route to the Atlantic, where a bus was embedded against a container.
According to a publication on their social networks, Arévalo confirmed that among the victims are members of the Semilla Movement, a party with which he won the presidency in the general elections of 2023.

After the accident, the lifeguards transferred eight people with wounds in different parts of the body; However, one of them died when he arrived at the National Hospital of Guastatoya, in El Progreso.
They indicated that there were two other people killed in the place of the accident.
So far, the causes of the accident are unknown.
