During an operation on the Pacific coast, the security forces intercepted a boat that moved possible illicit.

The army reported that the seized was transferred to the Naval Pacific Command to initiate the judicial counting and field tests.

Both institutions commented that they are waiting for the Public Ministry to conclude the proceedings.

The Guatemala army said the suspects, observing the elements of the National Defense Navy, sailed to the shore of the beach and fled.

Anti -narcotics agents of the National Civil Police indicated that the drug was hidden in plastic containers, similar to those used to store fuel.

They added that, after the finding, an operation was carried out in which they captured Luis Felipe Abarca Gutiérrez, 31, who was traveling with the illicit from the shore of the Monterrico beach, Santa Rosa, transporting several canecas that inside contained packages with possible drugs.
