The United States Immigration and Customs Control Service (ICE), and the Drug Control Administration (DEA) reported that Stivenson Omar Pérez-Ajtzalan, a Guatemalan migrant, was accused of aggravated rape against a girl in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on January 30.
On March 13, 2025, ICE authorities reported that Pérez had been arrested for the aforementioned violation position.
“Stivenson Omar Pérez-Ajtzalan entered this country illegally and abused a minor of Massachusetts, 10 years younger than him,” said Patricia H. Hyde, interim director of the ICE detention and deportation operations field office in Boston.
The Lawrence District Court processed Pérez on December 20, 2024 and sent it to prison.
“Pérez not only demonstrated a flagrant contempt for our immigration laws, but also sexually attacked a minor. He came to this country to cause harm, and now he must assume the consequences of his actions. ICE Boston will continue to be committed to its mission of protecting public security by arresting and deporting undocumented offenders of New England. ”
After being arrested Pérez was summoned before an immigration judge of the Department of Justice and instructed him to initiate a deportation process, ICE said in his statement.
