Chinchilla said the scholarships will be available to 5,370 young people interested in studying a degree, between 100 and 150 students that they wish to pursue a postgraduate and 700 people that seek to specialize in a technical career. He added that, depending on the performance of the fund, another allocation could be requested for next year.

Process to postulate

Spain indicated that the requirements will depend on the scholarship to which you want to apply and that there is no age limit to run. However, the Communication Director stressed that young people will be given priority.

Among the general requirements are:

Spain stressed that, to opt for a scholarship – especially undergraduately or postgraduately – it is essential to have the University Admission Letter in which the applicant wishes to enter, since this document is necessary for the allocation of the corresponding amount.

Chinchilla explained that the plan contemplates the realization of three calls to fill the quotas, due to the duration of the races. As indicated, university students must complete their studies in a period of three to five yearswhile technical careers could end in less than a year.
