Researchers from the National Division against Criminal Development of the Gangs (Diponda) of the National Civil Police (PNC) were ambushed by alleged gang members on Wednesday, March 26 in a sector of El Mezquital, zone 12 of Villa Nueva, police sources confirmed.
Local media publications indicate that the detectives were shot to bullets when they were traveling in a private vehicle through one of the streets of El Mezquital, where they carried out research related to the gang.
At the moment, the PNC has not given details of the armed incident; However, he assures that, as a consequence of this, injured agents are not reported.
Nor has it been informed how many researchers were traveling in the attacked vehicle or if they repelled the aggression.
Publications in social networks show the vehicle with several bullet drills.
