Together with an exceptional cast, Guatemalan actor, singer and producer Óscar Isaac will return to the cinema in April by giving voice to the character of Jesus Christ in the animated film King of Kingstape that will offer a multidimensional adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens book The Life of Our Lord.
With dubbing actors such as Kenneth Branagh, Pierce Brosnan and Uma Thurman, the Guatemalan actor will return to a voice to an animated character in a film that promises to inspire, from another perspective, children and adults about the life of Jesus Christ and the journey he faced before his death.
Directed by Seong-Ho Jang, this multidimensional film will mix the story of the British writer and his narration with adventure elements in different dimensions, which will take children and adults to live with Jesus their most important moments, such as their miracles, the storm in the sea and its persecution, which promises to keep the public to the edge of the armchair.
In Guatemala, the film will be released in Cinemas on Thursday, April 10, as in the rest of Latin America, while in North America it will premiere on April 11, coinciding its launch with the arrival of Holy Week.
The announcement of the actor’s participation was given through the advance of the film, placed on YouTube, where you can appreciate the work of Oscar Isaac by giving life to Jesus Christ.

Movie story
King of Kings It will be narrated by Charles Dickens, who, in the film, tries to approach his son Walter after an argument. The plot presents a Dickens who, after reprimanding Walter for interrupting one of his theatrical readings, decides to reconcile telling him a story before sleeping.
Walter asks his father to tell him a different story, the true story of a king. This request leads to the famous British writer to tell the life of a unique king, capable of doing miracles, walking with his followers and making an unprecedented sacrifice in the history of mankind.
The narrative transports Walter, Charles and Catherine Dickens to a fascinating adventure for the life of Jesus, framing a moment of hope, love and redemption, seen through the eyes of a child, according to Angel Studios, the producer in charge of the film.

The producers of the film have highlighted the participation of the dubbing actors who were part of the project, highlighting the trajectory of each.

Óscar Isaac prepares for his new role
Guatemalan actor Óscar Isaac will return to the screen to play Juan Carlos Guzmán, known as “The biggest living scammer”, in the series Stowaway Apple TV.
For this production, the Guatemalan will also be an executive producer of the history of Guzmán, a man who became famous in 1993 after reaching the US as a polizón, after traveling on the landing train of an plane from Colombia and surviving.
