Walmart Mexico and Central America makes the first edition of the Growth Summit, on July 30 and 3 of this year, at the Real Intercontinental Hotel, Guatemala City, Guatemala, with learning sessions and individual meetings with potential suppliers of products manufactured, cultivated and assembled in the five Central American countries.

Within the framework of the 20th anniversary celebrations of operating in the region, Walmart prepares to celebrate the supply event with the participation of small, medium and large companies of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
The Walmart Central America Growth Summit is focused on products manufactured, cultivated and assembled in the region, with the aim of promoting the growth of local economies, as well as promoting direct purchase to suppliers of the five countries.
In this first edition of the Walmart Central America Growth Summit, you will receive proposals for products from companies that are registered in the program, starting on April 1 and until May 2, 2025 through www.rangeme.com/growthsummitcam.
To be considered for the event, its products must be manufactured, cultivated or assembled in the countries of Central America where Walmart has a commercial presence (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua).
Companies that complete their candidacy before May 2 and, which meet the quality and marketing criteria, may be invited to participate in the next July event.
Those who participate will have learning and connection sessions with different areas of Walmart Central America, with Global Supply and Marketplace of Walmart International, as well as individual 30 -minute meetings to present their products to the Walmart Central America shopping team.
Walmart Growth Summit is an initiative that began eleven years ago in the United States under the name of Walmart Open Call, as an open invitation to local suppliers to be part of its supplier network. To date, markets such as Mexico, India and Chile, in which Walmart has operations, are already part of this initiative.
