With a week to visit the different independent bookstores in Guatemala City and Antigua Guatemala, Global Book Crawl 2026 arrives, a rally that will take reading lovers on a journey through spaces for conversation and coexistence with other readers.
With more than 20 spaces to explore, this activity joins the global event of independent bookstores, along with cities in Spain, Mexico, the United States and Australia, highlights the statement shared by the Association of Publishers of Guatemala (AGEG).
This event invites book lovers to visit independent bookstores in their city during the same week. In this second edition, he will take readers to two cities: Antigua Guatemala and the country’s capital.
This event develops the so-called “Book Rally”, which gives readers the opportunity to enter a tour where each participating bookstore will offer its customers a personal passport, which must have at least three visit stamps to different points.
This will give participants the opportunity to enter a drawing. According to the alliance with the International Book Fair in Guatemala (FILGUA), four redeemable gift vouchers will be raffled off.
To participate, your personal passport photograph must be sent to the official FILGUA networks, along with the corresponding data. The prizes will be divided into three vouchers of Q400 and one of Q1 thousand.
