The activities brought together dozens of neighbors, who participated in open-air movie screenings, accompanied by popcorn and a drink, recreating the traditional movie experience in an accessible environment designed for the whole family. These spaces have become community meeting points, where people share moments of coexistence.
As part of the day, the CineMóvil was accompanied by a Mobile Service Office, which allowed users to carry out procedures, resolve queries and catch up with their payments without having to travel to other municipalities. This component facilitated access to services and allowed participation in the raffle for a Smart TV, encouraging regularization and user participation.
“CineMóvil is a way to get closer to families, to be present in their community and share with them experiences that go beyond entertainment,” said Lissette Barrios, Talent and Communication Manager at ENERGUATE.
Education is also a central axis of the project. Before each screening, attendees receive practical information on electrical safety and energy efficiency tips, aimed at promoting responsible habits at home and contributing to the well-being of families.
“We believe that education and prevention are key to improving people’s quality of life, and CineMóvil allows us to share these messages in a close and simple way,” added Barrios.
With the start of the CineMóvil journey, ENERGUATE reaffirms its commitment to social development and close attention to the communities it serves. The activities in San Marcos and Petén mark the beginning of a year in which the project will continue visiting different municipalities, bringing entertainment, education, services and creating connections that transform lives.
