The Volunteer Firefighters of Tiquisate, Escuintla, reported that this Tuesday, April 21, a collision occurred between two vehicles at kilometer 168 of the route to El Semillero beach.
At the scene, three people died, including a child of approximately 2 years old.
Both vehicles were destroyed by the force of the impact, and some pieces were scattered on the asphalt.
The victims have not been identified; Vehicular traffic is interrupted in the sector.
Died in the capital
In another incident, the Municipal Firefighters reported that a man was run over and killed on San Juan Road and 31st Avenue, zone 7.
According to the report, the victim, about 65 years old, died from multiple trauma.
