Based on Leica UltraPure optical treatments and advanced lens configurations, the series ensures consistent performance in different lighting conditions, preserving details in both bright and low-light scenes.
The configuration incorporates multi-layer coatings that reduce reflections and interference, allowing cleaner light collection. In addition, it is complemented by tools such as AI Creativity Assistant and functions such as Xiaomi HyperConnect, which facilitate more flexible workflows.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra integrates a 1-inch main sensor with LOFIC technology, which improves light capture and dynamic range, along with a 200MP Leica telephoto system with 75–100 mm mechanical optical zoom, capable of maintaining high image quality and reaching equivalent distances of up to 400 mm. It also incorporates high video capabilities with cinematic recording in Dolby Vision® or ACES Log up to 4K at 120 fps on the main and telephoto cameras.
For its part, the Xiaomi 17 offers a system with a Light Fusion sensor, a 60 mm Leica floating telephoto lens, macro and advanced zoom functions, as well as a 50MP front camera with improved focus and 4K recording with high stability and color accuracy.

In terms of energy, the series introduces the new Xiaomi Surge battery, with greater energy density thanks to optimized silicon content. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a 6000mAh battery, while the Xiaomi 17 reaches 6330mAh. Both offer fast charging up to 100W, as well as wireless charging, allowing for a continuous experience without interruptions.
Its custom OLED display is designed for clarity and efficiency, with maximum brightness of up to 3,500 nits, ensuring visibility in any environment. The adaptive refresh rate of 1 to 120Hz, together with technologies such as DC dimming, allows for a fluid and comfortable visual experience, reducing visual fatigue.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra also introduces HyperRGB technology, which optimizes image clarity and energy efficiency, reinforcing visual quality.
