Darling: The Musical, It has more than 35 artists on stage, including dancers, orchestra and live mariachi who perform the greatest hits of the time. It is a Guatemalan production, created by Alejandra Argueta under the banner of the production company Quinta Columna.
The show takes place on three stages, highlighting the recreation of a nostalgic cabaret from the 1950s. In this environment, the stories of love, heartbreak and infidelity are intertwined to the rhythm of emblematic songs by figures such as Rocío Dúrcal, José Alfredo Jiménez, Juan Gabriel (“El Divo de Juárez”) and Lola Beltrán.
After its successful premiere in 2019, the work has returned in various seasons thanks to public demand. This experience, which invites the viewer on a journey to the past, has the artistic direction of Elma Ramírez and the musical direction of Roberto Estrada.
Among the cast are Davida Betancourth, Sebastián Chavarría, Marcela Fernández, Francisco Almorza, Gloria Marina, to name a few.
