The information, according to the media, was obtained by journalist Carlos Jiménez, who reported that the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico had managed to locate the taxi driver. Jimenez He added that Erika would have waited “patiently” for the driver to escape the crime scene.
“Today we know that the Investigative Police of the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office has already located the driver of that taxi“, journalist Jiménez reportedly said in his program “C4 en Alerta” on April 27.

On April 30, the authorities of Mexico confirmed that Erika was detained in Venezuela, where she had a red notice from Interpol.
Currently, the suspect, according to authorities, is in custody of the Venezuelan authorities while his extradition to Mexico is being managed.
