Agents from Police Station 12 of the National Civil Police (PNC) captured four people allegedly responsible for assaulting passengers of an extra-urban bus.
The PNC reported this Wednesday, May 6, that the arrests were recorded in an operation carried out in a shopping center on the route to the Atlantic, zone 17.
Those captured are Luis “N”, 26 years old, who has a history of illicit association in 2019; Emely “N”, 34; Susan “N”, 24, and Kenet “N”, 31.
The four were captured after a complaint from citizens who alerted the police about an assault.
After the alert, the agents located the accused, from whom they seized cell phones that had allegedly been stolen from the passengers of the public transport.
According to the investigation, it is presumed that the suspects are part of a criminal group dedicated to committing robberies against bus users and in shopping centers in different areas of the capital.
