Inacif identifies the four tied and bundled corpses located in San Miguel Dueñas

The National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) reported the identity and cause of death of four men located in a wooded area near the San Miguel Dueñas garbage dump, Sacatepéquez.

On May 6, the Departmental Municipal Firefighters reported that the discovery occurred on a dirt road towards the village of El Rosario, in that municipality.

According to firefighters, the victims would have been murdered about eight days ago, since the bodies were in an advanced state of decomposition.

The bodies were found tied hand and foot; Furthermore, they were wrapped in sacks.

The bodies were discovered by people who frequent the road, alerted by the foul odors resulting from decomposition.

Identity and cause of death

  • Roberto Carlos Jiménez Rodríguez, 39 years old, died from a gunshot wound
  • José Dionicio Ramírez Rumines, 32 years old, died from a gunshot wound
  • Kevin Alfonso Pacheco Ochoa, 32 years old, died from a gunshot wound
  • Ángel Ariel Valencia de León, 32 years old, undergoing autopsy
