The Insivumeh reported what the temperatures and rain conditions will be like this Wednesday, May 20 in Guatemala.
Forecaster Jorge Chinchilla explained that they are monitoring the passage of an eastern wave, which could cause a gradual increase in rain, mainly from the south to the center of the national territory.
The highest rainfall accumulations will be recorded in the west, the bocacosta and the central highlands, especially in mountainous sectors and in the volcanic chain.
The possibility of short-duration heavy rains, with electrical activity, strong wind and possible hail, is not ruled out.
In the north of the country, the thermometer will read between 38°C and 40°C maximum.
In the eastern valleys, maximum temperatures will be between 39°C and 41°C, and in the south of the country, between 38°C and 39°C.
In the central area of the country, the temperature will be between 29°C and 31°C.
