As detailed, last February, about a month and a half before the expiration of the first extension of the construction license, he requested a second renewal from the Mazatenango Municipalityan authority that “has maintained an administrative silence and remains unresolved, despite having complied with the regulatory requirements.”
Xochi indicates that on Thursday, June 4, the municipal authorities carried out a road closurewithout being notified or communicated the arguments for those actions in the private property and without allowing him to exercise his right to due process.
Besides, Xochi indicates that it has filed legal actions before judicial authorities and that he will continue working to inaugurate the project on June 12 and open it to the public on Sunday the 14th.
