During the flight from Rome to Madrid, Pope Leo XIV himself joked about the competition that the concerts of the interpreter of Nuevayolsince both sought to attract young people last Saturday.

According to CNN, the Pontiff commented: “I think many will go to see Bad Bunny,” when asked if young people would prefer to attend the artist’s concerts or see him. However, he added that there would also be young people who would choose to attend the vigil, which he considered a significant message.

Last Saturday, while Bad Bunny was celebrating one of his concerts, the Pope attended the Youth Prayer Vigil, held in the Plaza de Lima, which could have exceeded 500,000 attendees, according to the Government Delegation.

After an intense agenda over the weekend, on Monday the artist and the Pontiff managed to meet privately at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid, after the pope gathered a crowd of faithful.

At the moment, neither the Vatican nor the artist have published photographs or videos of the meeting.
