The NeuroRun is a race open to all audiences, from the most experienced to families who want to live a different day, marked by solidarity and the commitment to building a more inclusive society, with opportunities for everyone.

The donation is Q150 and includes an official t-shirt, runner number, timing chip, bag and participation medal. During the event, attendees will be able to enjoy a comprehensive experience with ExpoCarrera, sponsor activations and spaces designed for family coexistence, consolidating an environment where sport and social causes meet.

“A race that year after year reminds us of the power that a society has when it decides to unite for a cause. We invite Guatemalans to run with a purpose, to walk with conscience and take concrete steps towards a more inclusive, more sensitive country with greater opportunities for all. This year’s NeuroRun has a very special purpose, it is to support the strengthening of our autism program; we believe that inclusion does not have to be a privilege, it should be a reality accessible to everyone,” commented Lorena Forno, representative of the Neurological Institute. of Guatemala (ING).

The objective of the NeuroRun is to strengthen the PUNTEA Program, of ING, focused on the comprehensive care of children with autism. Currently, more than 400 children are on the waiting list, which shows the need for attention capacity. The funds raised will allow the therapeutic spaces to be expanded, through the construction of new areas. This allows increasing coverage to serve 300 children and improving access to specialized services for children from two to 18 years old.

Throughout its editions, the NeuroRun has shown that sport can be a driver of social change. In 2024 alone, the ING provided more than 17,500 hours of therapy, while in 2025 it reached a historic collection of Q526,500. These resources have allowed us to strengthen care programs and improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities or autism, as well as their families.

The event has the support of sponsors and strategic allies committed to social development, whose contribution allows amplifying the reach of the initiative and strengthening the positive impact it generates in hundreds of Guatemalan families.

“At Banco Industrial we believe in the positive impact that initiatives like NeuroRun can generate, which unite sport, solidarity and social inclusion. Being part of this effort represents an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of hundreds of children and families. They need access to specialized care,” said Ana Isabel de León, representative of Banco Industrial.

In addition to participating in the race, interested people can join the cause through donations, volunteering or strategic alliances, with the aim of reaching more areas of the country that still do not have access to specialized services or therapies.
