The collision between two helicopters occurred in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood, in the western area of the capital of Rio de Janeiro, and left six people dead. However, the Police have not yet officially confirmed the identity of the victims.

According to the flight plan of one of the aircraft, American musician Oliver Tree was also among the passengers.

The Spanish influencer Ibai Llanos regretted the incident in X with a message dedicated to his friend. “What absolute disgrace. What absolute sadness. And how shitty this life is sometimes. I don’t even know what to say. Rest in peace, Gaspi,” he wrote.

The Argentine YouTuber Coscu also said goodbye to his colleague on the same social network. “Rest in peace, Gaspi. The last time we were together you showed and told me, very motivated and excited, how you were improving your habits and taking care of yourself. Life is very unfair. Anyone who knew you knew you were a great guy,” he expressed.

For their part, Argentine musicians Bizarrap and Nicki Nicole remembered Lucas Vignale, 29, who directed music videos for both artists.

Bizarrap published a photo with the producer in an Instagram story and wrote: “There are no words, I just hope you can rest in peace. The pain is immense. A lot of strength to the family and close friends. See you always, friend. The good memories and your art will be indelible.”

Nicki Nicole also used Instagram to say goodbye to the audiovisual director. “Without words, really. Thank you for sharing your art with me,” he wrote alongside a fragment of one of the music videos they worked on together.

Vignale developed part of his professional career with artists such as Bizarrap, Trueno and J Balvin. In addition, he published the last known image of Prim Díaz in an Instagram story, in which the YouTuber appears reclining in a beach chair facing the sea.

Other figures in the digital field, including the Spanish Rubius, also reacted to the accident with messages of condolence.

The Argentine streaming channel Blender, where Prim Díaz had recently announced a new audiovisual production, thanked him for his “art” and “sensitivity” in a farewell publication.

Prim Díaz, 23, accumulated more than two million followers on social networks and was known for his humorous productions on YouTube. He achieved greater notoriety on July 26, 2025, when he participated in La Velada del Año, the amateur boxing event organized by Ibai Llanos. At the end of May he had announced a new video series for Blender.

The causes of the accident are being investigated by the Center for Research and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (Cenipa), of the Brazilian Air Force.
