Two alleged assailants were captured during operations of the Safe Traffic Light Plan in zone 14, the National Civil Police (PNC) reported this Tuesday, June 16.
The arrests were made by agents from Police Station 13 on 10th Avenue and 2nd Street in the aforementioned area, where the suspects tried to take a person’s belongings.
The detainees were identified as José “N”, 25 years old, and Nicaraguan Adonis “N”, 36, according to the PNC.
“The capture was carried out thanks to the rapid police intervention and the coordinated work with organized neighbors of the Integral 14 program,” noted the PNC.
From the detainees they seized a replica pistol with which they threatened the victim, a bag with marijuana and two “fangs” with cocaine.
In addition, the agents confiscated the motorcycle they were riding on.
Both were placed at the disposal of the corresponding court and it is being investigated whether they are linked to other criminal acts, the PNC added.
