This highway, of more than 30 kilometers, begins at kilometer 142.5, in San Antonio Suchitepéquez, until kilometer 172, San Andrés Villa Seca, Retalhuleu; It articulates a relevant part of the country’s agricultural, livestock, agro-industrial and tourism production, whose improvement in connectivity directly affects logistics efficiency, transportation predictability and the generation of new development opportunities.

Xóchi is the result of a broad articulation that involves managing partners and top-level financial actors such as IDC and BCC Private Equity. There is also the support of financial entities such as Banco Industrial and IDB Invest, as well as more than 700 investors, through public issuance and the important participation of various local partners.

This structure, in addition to making the project viable, reflects a more inclusive and collaborative way of developing infrastructure, by democratizing capital, especially within local communities and the region.
