Ten captured and more than Q15,000 confiscated in operations against drug dealing

In 11 raids carried out by the General Subdirectorate of Analysis of Anti-Narcotics Information, in coordination with the Public Ministry, in the departments of Guatemala, Jutiapa and Escuintla, 10 alleged drug distributors were captured.

The National Civil Police (PNC) reported this Thursday, June 18, that those captured are Nery “N”, 58 years old; Nancy “N,” 46; Noemí “N”, 61; Gipsy “N”, 30, and Selvin “N”, 34.

Also Walter “N”, 51 years old; Esvin “N”, 45; Erik “N”, 62; Moisés “N”, 21, and Ángela “N”, 22.

During the operations, investigators seized 99 bags of marijuana, 19 crack stones, 10 fangs with cocaine and 41 empty fangs, allegedly used for the distribution of drugs.

In addition, they seized three envelopes with marijuana, a bag with marijuana, eight cell phones, two electronic weights and a radio intercom.

The PNC also reported the seizure of Q17,108, money allegedly from the sale of drugs at retail.
